More info to LQ.If i agreed under extreme duress and pressure.Also fraud in the inducement(on behalf of my lawyer and a mediator) to a settlement but never signed any paperwork and the lawyer is sueing for his fees.Can the fees be taken from a settlement that i never signed.And a check is present at a law office.But the judge said the lawyer can only get the fees when i sign?

If that is what the judge told you, I would listen to him. Technically if you don't cash the check, I don't see how fees can be taken out from that check. The lawyer can sue you and have a judgement over you.
