Girl Getting Bullied

My friend who is under aged had sex with this jerk (also under aged). He broke up with her and is ruining her already painful life. they live in a small town and he is spreading a rumor about how she is a slut. She only had sex with him once and he has been the only on she has been with(sexually). her life, which is getting even worse is like torture. she has cut herself and her family life is practically dead. we both want to hurt this guy (physically). He is ruining her life. He deserves a sentence. Is this Illegal what he's doing?

Well first of all, he may be guilty of statutory rape which is a criminal offense. Also if he is harassing her, she can contact the police and file a restraining order. If he is spreading false rumors about her, he may be liable for defamation if she decides to sue him civilly.
