suing a tattoo parlor

my ex-girlfriend is pregnant with my child. she started a tattoo before she found out she was pregnant. she told the artist that she was pregnant, couldn't finish the tattoo. then they agreed to finish the tattoo even though he knew it was wrong, as long as she didn't say anything to anybody at the shop. do i have grounds to sue if she miscarries?

From what I have just read on the internet, the biggest risks of getting a tattoo during pregnancy is risk of catching an infection and epidural problems during the procedure. I have not seen any information that suggests a woman can have a miscarriage but that is not to say it is not possible. I am not a medical doctor and don't know of the risks associated with getting a tattoo during pregnancy. Also I do not believe there are any laws that forbid tattoo parlors to tattoo on pregnant woman but most do not because of safety concerns.
