Wrongfully terminated after being harrassed by boss and going to upper management!

I held a job for a little over 10 months and for at least 6 of them, I was constantly harrassed by my boss. Not sexually harrassed, but verbally. I went to the management repeatedly and when they did nothing, I went to the upper management. When my boss "jokingly" kicked at me and I saw him do it, I told the upper management and a few days later was fired from my job.
I am in Kansas. My questions are as follows:
What kind of lawyer do I need and where would I find one?
How long do I have to file a lawsuit?
What are the chances, due to the fact I wasn't descriminated against or sexually harrassed, that this will be worth pressing?
