my father is hospitalize he went in to have surgery to stop some bleeding on the brain the surgery went well but days later he had multiple sizures he is on a respirator and has a feeding tube also he has a pacemaker two days ago he had a stroke how severe I do not know there running a CAT scan today. the doctors are saying that it seems that my father stroke has resricted movement just to the left side the doctors keeps him heavly sadative because when they tried to remove the respirator tube he becams combative.

My question to you how would I proceed to obtain guardianship of the person and what prceedure or documents do I need also my father lives in washington dc and I live in maryland
