We are joint owners of the house we've been living in for 17 years. He moved out with still having 2 teenagers living in the house. He is trying to sell the house ASAP. I was wondering what my options and rights are for keeping the house until my youngest finishes high school? I have also been unemployed for 3 months. We were left with no oil or food or money. My house was 57 degrees during the night due to no oil.. Sounds like abandonment to me.?? I am looking for advice on if I should sell or do I and the kids have rights so we can still live in my house??
