My partner is getting divorce, she hired a PI, the PI called my husband that I'm divorcing and told him about my relationship with this other man. Is it legal ?

I don't see anything here that would be illegal. You can attempt to argue some possible state tort claim like invasion of privacy but I do not think that would be a successful claim.
