I want to turn myself in after 4 years on the lamb, but have little money to afford a descent lawyer, how do i get free legal help representation for the day i want to turn myself in??? my drug addic

I want to turn myself in after 4 years on the lamb, but have little money to afford a descent lawyer, how do i get free legal help representation for the day i want to turn myself in??? my drug addiction led me to the crimes i have committed but now i have been drug free for 3 years and just want to get this monkey off my back so i can move forward and have a normal lifestyle again. If anyone knows of a good pro~bono lawyer in or around the springfield,MA area please lend a name. I am a good person and have since repaired the bridges ive burned and is now ready to face the legal aspect of my past.

Every state has legal aid agencies that help individuals with their legal issues. You should contact your local agencies to see who can provide you with some help. Ultimately, I do not see how it would make a difference because you will still have to turn yourself in. As soon as you turn yourself and and get arrested, you will be provided with a public defender who can help you with your case. Please note that I am not an attorney and this is not legal advice.
